 About Us

A division of POWERSTORM CORPORATION, QuickCheckup develops life-enhancing products to empower people of all ages to excel personally and professionally.  Visionary, entrepreneur and fitness enthusiast Michael C. Powers formed the company in 2001 and established its headquarters in Dallas, Texas.Studio photo of Mr. Powers

As a CIO and VP of research and development for a leading technology company, Powers played a critical role in achieving a pre-IPO sale to a venture capitalist firm.  At that time, he began to devote his energies to developing his own product line focused at giving people the power to improve their own  performance.

With 25 years of experience in fitness and several certifications from The Cooper Institute and other organizations, Powers combines the attributes of technologist and fitness expert.  As a result, his products are well-designed for usability and safety, and employ sophisticated evaluation methodologies, so users enjoy functionality beyond what other products provide.

"I strongly believe people overcome many health obstacles by making better lifestyle choices.  My fitness products provide information to help people make these choices and take ownership of their health."

- Michael C. Powers
